Hey Everyone!
I hope you enjoyed my last post and will enjoy this one as well. I came across an article that opened my eyes to how something negative can be turned around in a unique way. There have been many cases where bad news for a country brought down the spirits of its inhabitants and it is really uplifting to hear about news of countries that overcame the negativity. This is the case in this article about Kenya, called "Kenyan Finance Minister Kenyatta to ‘Step Aside,’ Remain as Deputy Premier." Kenya's finance minister, Uhuru Kenyatta, was charged with "directing violent attacks, including murder and forced displacement, after a disputed presidential election that left 1,500 people dead and uprooted another 300,000 from their homes." This atrocity is incredibly upsetting to witness and can do a great deal of damage to the perception of a country and its government.
Thankfully, Kenyatta chose to step down from his position after he was charged. This is great news because it will allow another candidate to take charge of the exhibitions of the country and be more civilized and humane when it comes to the preservation of human life. Kenyatta was a hindering aspect of the government and created an absolutely horrific situation for the people of Kenya. He brought sadness to the country and created harmful situations that should have been avoided. The fact that he stepped down from his position is very positive news and will hopefully allow Kenyans to make improvements in their financial ministering duties and will put an end to the violence present in some of the government boards.
